MAC WORLD NEW YORK

MacWorld New York is tomorrow and, as usual, the Apple marketing machine is certain to have a surprise up its sleeve. Coming off another profitable quarter amongst a continued economic downturn, what makes sense for Apple to release? Larger screens on the iMac and an OS X update (now with iChat) are all fine and dandy, but all of that has already been leaked.

What’s the big secret? I don’t know, do you?

As MacWorlds go, there did not appear to be an earth shattering secret which is slightly surprising. iPod update, iTools becomes .Mac, a release date for Jaguar (which has a ton o' stuff), iMac update, and a new iTunes...

So, it's not a complete yawner, but from this side of the country there wasn't a ton to stand up and cheer about.

YOU ARE SO NOT INVITED TO THE NEXT MACWORLD EXPO!!! FIRST YOU SHILL TO MICROSOFT USING THEIR COMIC CHAT AND NOW YOU'RE TELLING EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER (WHO WOULD LOVE TO USE A MAC BECAUSE THEY'RE SO USER FRIENDLY AND COLOR COORDINATED) ABOUT THE ***BIG SECRETS*** BEING REVEALED TO THE POPULACE IN THAT SHATTERED EAST COAST CITY!!!

It was a terrible keynote, it will be a terrible expo and I need a new pair of boxers.

I think most people are missing the importance of iSync. In the scheme of things that is a big move toward the digital hub. Improving the Mac PDA/Device experience will go a long way to converting the PC roadwarrior business person. Being based on standards (SyncML) means that it has a lot of potential for future uses. From a demo perspective sync is never very impressive but from a daily use standpoint it is.

Do you think the Mac expo being hosted in NY is to inspire collateral 9/11 sympathy for them?

what?

(T RANDS OK THANKS THEN JUST CHECKING, I HOPE YOU _DONT_ TRIP ON YOUR MAC AND ETC :P )

MWNY has existed for quite a while. The east coast Mac expo moved to NYC from Boston a while back.

OKAY then was 9/11 intended to inspire collateral sympathy for the Mac expo?
